How does it feel to be back in Flushing?
Pretty good, I’m playing back at home.
How old were you when you started playing tennis?
I was five years old.
How did you get into tennis?
My dad. My dad used to play for fun and he decided to get me out there, and have me try to play with him.
What’s your earliest memory of playing tennis?
This is going to sound really weird, but when I was first starting to play, my dad was teaching me my strokes, so I kind of learned to play tennis in my house.
Who did you look up to growing up in terms of tennis?
Remember growing up my favorite player was Martina Hingis. As I got older my favorite player was Justine Henin.
If you could play tennis against any other player in history, who would it be?
I really wanted to play Justine Henin.
Probably either listening to music or shopping.
What’s your favorite song on your IPod right now?
I kind of listen to a bit of everything thing, so it’s tough to pick.
Do you do any pre-match rituals?
I used to, but then I kind of lost my iPod, so I can’t really do that anymore.
What’s the first you ever went to?
Last year I went to my first concert; I went to see a reggae band called Rebelution in LA.
What show do you DVR the most?
I don’t really watch a lot of TV, but I’d say my favorite shows are NCIS and The Big Bang Theory.

What has been your favorite or funniest moment of your college tennis career thus far?
I would say my favorite moment would be winning Indoors here last year that was pretty awesome.
