Aqvist comes to UTA from Gothenburg, Sweden where she was part of the
Swedish National Team at the European Championships and was ranked 384
in the ITF Juniors... She was consistently ranked one of the top-4
juniors in Sweden reaching a high of No.1 in Sweden... she recorded wins
over top-500 WTA players and captured the Swedish Championship last
year.

D'ortona, a Bologna, Italy native was one of the top juniors in Italy
where she achieved a ranking of 2.7 by the Italian Federation... She
also was ranked as high as 240 in the ITF Junior rankings while
collecting wins over top-100 ITF Junior players. In 2008, D'ortona
captured a G4 ITF doubles tournament in Taiwan.

Mayuk, a transfer student from Mississippi State University played last
season at MSU where she played mostly at the No. 3 position in singles
and No. 1 in doubles... In her first season with the Bulldogs, she
finished with a team leading 16 single's wins playing mostly at the No. 5
spot... registered 12 doubles wins which included her most notable win
over 16th ranked-LSU.

As a sophomore, Negreanu played singles at both the No. 2 and No. 3

2007-08 [Freshman Season]
The UTA freshman recorded 20 total victories during the 2007-08
season... selected as the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year.

collegiate singles' victory in a straight set against top-ranked Tulsa
by scores of 7-5, 6-3... captured her first career doubles' victory with
teammate Sara Pesic over Central Arkansas by an 8-1 count... recorded a
hard-fought three-set triumph over Peta Taylor of Sam Houston State...
captured three consecutive matches in singles' action over McNeese
State, Southern Illinois and Marquette... recorded back-to-back wins in
doubles' competition against SLC opponents Nicholls State and Texas
