SKILLMAN, NJ (Jan. 21) - After opening the 2014 spring season atop the ITA College Tennis Rankings, the Stanford women and Virginia men remained as the No. 1 teams in the nation.

The Cardinal women begin their dual match season on Friday as they host UC Davis, while the Cavalier are set to host Indiana, Samford and Elon in 2014 ITA Kick-Off Weekend action.

Follow the Leader:  For the men, following Virginia is (in order): UCLA, Georgia, USC, Ohio State Tennessee, Baylor, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Ole Miss. On the women's side, Stanford is followed by Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, UCLA, USC, Texas A&M, Cal, Miami (FL) and Duke.

Duke is a noticeable omission from the men's Top 10, as the Blue Devils dropped 10 spots to No. 17 after back-to-back 4-3 losses to Elon and Kentucky. The only change in the women's Top 10 is UCLA breaking its tie for fifth with Pac-12 foe USC, as the Bruins garnered the last spot in the Top 5.

Conference Count: Men's Top 25: SEC - 11; Pac-12, Big 12 and ACC - 3; Big Ten - 2; Conference USA, AAC and WCC - 1. Five different conferences placed at least one team in the Top 10. Women's Top 25: ACC - 8, SEC - 6, Pac-12 - 4; Big 12 and Big Ten - 3; Conference USA - 1. All four of the Pac-12 women's teams ranked in the Top 25 landed inside the Top 10 this week.

Double-Dip: This week, 12 schools have both their men's and women's programs ranked inside the Top 25:
