Zmak, Schmaus Top ITA NAIA Fall Rankings
Embry-Riddle doubles teams selected as top NAIA teams in the country
SKILLMAN, NJ (Nov. 22) -- The 2013 ITA NAIA Fall Rankings have been announced today, revealing the Top 50 national singles players and 25 national doubles teams in NAIA men's and women's tennis. For complete lists, click here for the men's rankings and click here for the women's rankings.

In men's singles, Deni Zmak of Embry-Riddle is in the top spot, following a strong fall season which saw him win the Super Bowl Singles title as well as the NAIA Men's Singles title at the 2013 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships. Zmak competed in the recent USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in both singles and doubles.
Marco Carvajal of Oklahoma Baptist, Stefan Kilchhofer of Vanguard, Nicolas Pinones-Haltenhoff of Auburn-Montgomery and Aaron Hendrick of Aquinas College round out the top five.
Theresa Schmaus of Savannah College of Art and Design is ranked atop the ITA NAIA women's singles rankings, following her women's singles title at theUSTA/ITA National Small College Championships. Schmaus also won the NAIA Women's Singles title at the USTA/ITA Florida Regional Championships. The remainder of the top five is: Jade Curtis of Auburn-Montgomery, Neesha Thirumalaichelvam of the University of Cumberlands, Amy Fritz of Evangel University and Dominika Jasova of Brenau University.

The Embry-Riddle Eagles top both men's and women's doubles NAIA rankings on the heels of their successful 2013 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships. Zmak and doubles partner Simon Felix won the Super Bowl men's singles title in Fort Myers after winning the NAIA men's doubles title, and they knocked out #3 seeds Mackenzie McDonald and Marcos Giron in the first round at the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.
The Embry-Riddle doubles team of Kristina Marova and Hui-I Huang sit atop the NAIA women's doubles rankings after their title run at the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships.
