SKILLMAN, N.J. – With the 2012-13 college tennis season just getting underway for most teams around the country, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced the Campbell/ITA Division I Women's Preseason Rankings, along with the selections for the 2012 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships.
For the 28th year, the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, CA, will serve as the host site for the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships. This year’s singles field will be loaded with talent as always, led by stellar Duke sophomore Beatrice Capra, who will be one of 15 returning All Americans participating in this year’s event. Anderson finished last season ranked fifth in the final Campbell/ITA Division I Women’s Singles Rankings. She compiled a 36-9 record on the year, including an impressive 21-2 in dual matches, as the Bruins advanced the to the 2012 NCAA Championship match. She was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2012 ITA National Women’s Indoor Championship after helping UCLA claim their first ever crown at the event.
