Capital One Bank/Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient... helped the Mavericks to a SLC regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the SLC Tournament... finished 3-1 in league play... recorded a 9-6 mark at the No. 2 spot and a 1-0 record at the No. 1 position... won five of his last 10 singles matches... paired up with senior Dmitry Minkin at the No. 1 doubles spot where the duo registered a 11-10 record... the tandem went 5-5 in their last 10 matches... won four straight singles matches prior to the SLC Tournament.

    2008-09 [Freshman Season]
    Only the third Maverick in men's tennis history to be named SLC Freshman of the Year, Celedinas led team with the most singles wins (12) and tied in doubles (12)... named to the All-SLC singles second team... earned SLC Player of the Week honors on one occasion... started off at the No. 3 position and later bumped down to the No. 1 spot where he recorded an 8-7 mark... went 4-3 in conference action... recorded a three-set win against No. 75 University of New Orleans... paired with Dmitry Minkin, the duo won their first six matches and finished the season with a 12-9 record... the tandem posted victories over nationally-ranked University of New Orleans and Baylor.

    Ranked one of the top-20 players in the 14 & Under division... ranked one of the top-60 players in the 16 & Under division... was the Lithuania champion... in 2002 was ranked one of the top-4 players in Lithuania... won Baltic State 14 & Under Championship... in 2004 was Europe's Champion in the 14 & Under Division... was the Baltic States Champion and the European Champion... was the summer's and winter's Lithuania champion.

2008-09 [Sophomore Season]
Named SLC Player of the Week on one occasion... named to the Capital One Bank/SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll... recorded five wins in singles action and went 9-13 in doubles competition with teammates Adam Srkala and Gonzalo Bienzobas... won four straight singles matches at the No. 2 and 3 positions.

2007-08 [Freshman Season]
In his second season in a Mavericks uniform, Hamon finished with 16 victories in both singles' and doubles' competition... posted a 12-10 overall record in singles' action, including five wins in league play at the number-four position... notched four wins in doubles' action with teammate Nishant Hari in the number-two position in the lineup... captured six consecutive matches in singles' competition at the number-four position against No. 75 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Columbia, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Texas-Pan American, Southeastern Louisiana and Lamar... handed Nuno Jacinto and Xavier Riart-Ferrer of Illinois State an 8-3 setback in doubles' action... won back-to-back matches in singles' competition at the number-four position of the rotation against Gerry Lozano by scores of 6-0, 6-3 followed by a two-set victory over Ignacio Murgier of Cameron by a 6-2, 6-0 decision... biggest win came against Hubert Chodkiewicz of No.7 Texas in a three-set triumph of 3-6, 6-3, and 1-0... handed Laurent Montoisy and James Langford of No. 75 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi an 8-6 setback... notched a 6-2, 6-1 decision over Valu Fa of Western New Mexico... defeated Alejandro Ahuja and Gerry Lozano of Centenary in doubles' competition with teammate Hari by an 8-2 count... recorded a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Oscar Beich of Illinois State playing at the number-four position... collected All-SLC first-team accolades in the number-four position in singles action.

Prior to UTA
Was named the 2005 and 2006 Normandie Tennis Champion and appeared in championship of France on two occasions and lost in the second round.

Hamon is the son of Andre and Maryse Hamon... born on March 22, 1988... has four sisters and one brother... majoring in management.


Erik Hjertonsson

Hjertonsson joins the Mavericks from Gotenberg, Sweden where he was consistently ranked a top-25 junior in the boys 16's and 18's, reaching as high as No. 12 and No. 3 in his district... also competed in ITF Junior tournaments in Sweden and achieved a men's national ranking of 102.

2009-10 [Sophomore Season] Named to the All-SLC singles second team after registering a 6-9 overall and 3-2 conference mark... recorded five of his six victories at the No. 6 spot... collected a 6-3, 6-3 win over UTPA's Nirvick Mohinta that helped clinch a SLC regular season title.

2008-09 [Freshman Season]
Saw limited playing time during his first season... finished with a 4-5 singles record and a 4-2 doubles mark... named to the Capital One Bank/SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll... collected his first collegiate win against Tulsa at the No. 6 position... paired with Gonzalo Bienzobas, the duo won four straight matches at the No. 2 and 3 flights.

Bowie High School
During his prep career, Lateko was a 2006 Mixed doubles Texas State Champion... selected as the Tennis Player of the Year in 2006... collected third place laurels in 2007 in mixed doubles at the Texas State Championship... complied a 90-3 overall record in his four-year career... finished the 2007-08 campaign with an 8-7 overall record and ranked 221 in the nation.

Leppin was ranked No. 1 in Germany in the boys 14's then was consistently ranked in the top-10 boys 16's... achieved a men's national ranking of 230 and won the Northern German Championships in doubles and singles as a junior... played in the German 14's Under National Team in the summer and winter cup.

Moreno a native of Santa Clara, CA participated in category 14U and 16U in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador... captured the ITF G5 in doubles in Cali, Colombia and semifinals in ITF G5 in Bogota, Colombia... was a runner-up at the National "Interstate Team" Tournament in 2010 where he represented the state of "Valle del Cauca"... named Athlete of the Year twice (2009, 2010) at "Colegio Aleman-Deutsche Schule Cali".
