2008-09 [Freshman Season] Only the third Maverick in men's tennis history to be named SLC Freshman of the Year, Celedinas led team with the most singles wins (12) and tied in doubles (12)... named to the All-SLC singles second team... earned SLC Player of the Week honors on one occasion... started off at the No. 3 position and later bumped down to the No. 1 spot where he recorded an 8-7 mark... went 4-3 in conference action... recorded a three-set win against No. 75 University of New Orleans... paired with Dmitry Minkin, the duo won their first six matches and finished the season with a 12-9 record... the tandem posted victories over nationally-ranked University of New Orleans and Baylor. Prior to UTA Was named the 2005 and 2006 Normandie Tennis Champion and appeared in championship of France on two occasions and lost in the second round. a native of Santa Clara, CA participated in category 14U and 16U in
Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador... captured the ITF G5 in doubles in
Cali, Colombia and semifinals in ITF G5 in Bogota, Colombia... was a
runner-up at the National "Interstate Team" Tournament in 2010 where he
represented the state of "Valle del Cauca"... named Athlete of the Year

including a 9-8 singles record... won three straight singles matches
against Centenary College, UTSA and UC Santa Barbara at the No. 5
position... paired with Gonzalo Bienzobas, the duo won their first four
matches including an 8-3 win against No. 75 University of New Oreleans.

Subirats is the son of Antonio Subirats and Montserrat Altes... born on
August 26, 1989... has two brothers - Eric and Albert... majoring in
