Host Clemson, ranked No. 13, returns all but one letter winner from a team that advanced to the NCAA round of 16, including three players ranked in the top 75 of the ITA rankings: No. 44 Beatrice Gumulya, No. 51 Romy Koelzer and No. 74 Yana Koroleva (who was ranked No. 7 in the ITA Preseason Rankings).

No. 27 Purdue returns its top three from 2012-2013, including No. 111 Mara Schmidt. No. 32 Tennessee lost its top player, Brynn Boren, to USC but freshman Eve Repic (No. 53) and Joanna Henderson (No. 99) both went 7-2 during the fall, and Henderson is paired with Caitlyn William as the No. 43 ranked doubles team. Fresno State went 14-8 last season, and the No. 56 team brings its top player No. 104 Sophie Watts and No. 41 doubles team of Aishwarya Agrawal and Claire Yang.
