Tennessee (No. 6) opens the spring season with the No. 1 doubles team in Mikelis Libietis (No. 34) and Hunter Reese (No. 16), as the pair raced to the finals of both national events in the fall, winning the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Doubles Championship. The Volunteers have another ranked duo at No. 2 doubles, making them a tough opponent from the very start of the match.

No. 30 VCU, No. 34 NC State and No. 49 Michigan State all qualified for the NCAA Team Championships last season, but only NC State was able to win a round. The Wolfpack have four ranked singles players and a ranked doubles pair entering the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.

VCU is led by No. 78 Alexis Heugas and added Nick Jones, formerly of South Carolina, who was ranked as high as No. 4 nationally in doubles as a Gamecock. Michigan State boasts five returners in its starting six singles slots, including 2013 ITA National Summer Champion Drew Lied, who was preseason ranked.
