(1) Ohio State, (2) Louisville, (3) Middle Tennessee State, (4) Denver

Ohio State (No. 5) didn’t see much action in the fall, but the team of Peter Kobelt (No. 33 singles) and Kevin Metka won the consolation at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. The Buckeyes knocked off four-time defending NCAA Team Champion USC en route to the NCAA Semifinals last season.

Every starter in the Louisville (No. 47) lineup had a winning record, but none were ranked individually. Middle Tennessee State (No. 52) enters the ITA Kick-Off Weekend behind the strong fall of David Fox, who is ranked No. 98 nationally in singles and 22nd in doubles with No. 1 singles player Victor Cornea.

Denver’s (No. 57) shining moment of the fall was Henry Craig (No. 86) capturing the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championship and participating in both national tournaments. The Pioneers knocked off No. 15 Florida at the NCAA Team Championships last season, showing they are a threat on the big stage.
