2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Miami advanced to their fourth ACC Championship match in five seasons before falling to Duke, 4-3, and ending their 12-match winning streak…UM captured their first-ever ACC Regular Season title, entering the ACC Championships as the #1 seed…The only team losses on the year have come against Top 10 teams, including No. 1 Northwestern and No. 3 Duke (ACC Finals), while collecting wins over 11 Top 25 programs.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: UM boasts four Top 50 players on this year’s roster, while eighth-year head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews collected her 150th career victory on the season…Junior Laura Vallverdu and sophomores Julia Cohen, Bianca Eichkorn and Michaela Kissell were all named to the All-ACC Team. Cohen is currently ranked inside the Top 10, a spot she’s held consistently throughout the season, while Vallverdu is inside the Top 25.
