BEST NCAA FINISH: Best finish was in the 1994 season in Head Coach Jennifer Hyde’s senior season. The team lost in the round of 16 to Arizona State 5-3.

2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Florida State has only lost to top 10 ranked teams…The Seminoles defeated in-state rival Florida for the first time in program history…At the ACC tournament, FSU upset Georgia Tech to make it to the semifinals for just the third time in program history.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: As one of the top Florida State tennis players, Coach Hyde has been able to not only take the program to new heights, but also bring in talented girls. Hyde currently has two-nationally ranked players at No. 36 and No. 50. Her lone senior, Ania Rynarzewska, just received the esteemed post-graduate scholarship award. Hyde has led her team to a higher ranking each year, with the 2008 season matching the highest ranking in school history, No. 12. Until the semifinals of the conference tournament where the Seminoles faced No. 6 Miami, FSU was on a nine-match winning streak.
