2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Finished the year with a 24-4 overall record and an 8-1 mark in Southern Conference play. The Cougars knocked off the league's top seed and perennial power Furman, 4-1, in the SoCon Tournament's Championship match ... the Cougars have won five matches in a row and 16 of their last 17 overall.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Anastopoulo, who also coached the men's team from 1991-92 through 2000-01 and posted a 172-79 record, has an overall record in his 18th season of 503-200…Holly Dowse finished with a 17-6 singles mark this season, including a 10-2 record at No. 2…Keely Mulligan went 15-3 and Caroline Newman posted a 19-6 record in singles play…Mulligan is riding a five-match winning streak. Dowse and Newman teamed for a 10-1 record in doubles competition, 7-0 at No. 3.
