Posted five wins against opponents ranked in the top 13 (including a 6-1 victory over UCLA that avenged their NCAA Championship match loss to the Bruins in 2008)… opened season with highest ranking in school history, No. 2… went 12-1 in home matches at Hellman Tennis Complex.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Only team to have five players ranked in the top 60: No. 10 freshman Jana Juricova, No. 28 sophomore Marina Cossou, No. 30 senior Bojana Bobusic, No. 35 sophomore Mari Andersson, No. 54 senior Claire Ilcinkas… four different doubles teams ranked in top 90, including No. 5 Andersson/Juricova (17-2)… Bobusic leads team with 35 singles victories… six players have at least 20 singles wins, two over 30… Andersson undefeated in Pac-10 duals (8-0)… Andersson, Bobusic and Juricova were each named Pac-10 Player of the Week once this season… head coach Amanda Augustus selected to coach USTA Summer Collegiate Team, former back-to-back NCAA doubles champion (1998 & 99) and six-time Cal All-American (four singles, two doubles).
