2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: All four losses were road or neutral matches, and all by 4-3 scores. Baylor is 15-4 on the season against ranked opponents, and has defeated seven Top 20 opponents, including four ranked in the Top 10. Achieved a ranking of No. 3 this season, the second-highest ranking in program history (ranked No. 2 in 2008). The Lady Bears have won five-straight Big 12 regular season and conference titles.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Baylor boasts four ranked players in singles and two ranked doubles squads. Taylor Ormond was the 2008 Big 12 Freshman of the Year, while Jelena Stanivuk was the 2008 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. Lenka Broosova (2008 singles and doubles) and Csilla Borsanyi (2007 singles) are both returning ITA All-Americans.
