PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Juniors Patrick Smith and Bret Berryman were selected as First Team all-Summit League honorees… The honor was Smith’s second straight first team nod… Berryman was also The Summit League Newcomer of the Year… It is his second career Newcomer of the Year honor, as he was the MAC Newcomer of the Year in 2006 at Ball State… Smith has won 14 straight matches (9 singles, 5 doubles) heading into the NCAA’s… his 14 singles wins are tied for the second most victories in school history, and his 13 victories at the No. 2 position are the most all-time in the record books.
