PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Freshman Eric West is currently ranked 1st all time at SIU with 30 wins in a single season and was also named Freshman of the Year in MVC for the first time in school history…Both West and Hugo Vial went 6-0 in conference matches this season. Dann Nelson was named co-coach of the year in the MVC and is the first coach to win the honor since 1991.
