2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: The Red Foxes collected seven shutout victories this season, including five in the regular season. Marist was crowned MAAC Champions for the seventh time in program history, and for the second straight year.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: Junior Loic Sessagesimi was named the MAAC Championship Most Outstanding Player (MOP) for the second straight season as the Red Foxes avenged a 5-2 regular season loss to the Fairfield Stags in the MAAC title match at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. on April 19. Nicolas Pisecky was named MAAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Feb. 24, 2009. Head Coach Tim Smith earned his 200th career victory in a dual match with the Hartford Hawks. Freshman Matt Himmelsbach has won his last nine matches, eight of which have come in straight sets.
