2009 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: The Wildcats had a 14-match winning streak, a span of 57 days without losing a match… Arizona climbed the ranks to No. 17 on March 3, the highest ranking in the last 30 years… On April 3, the Wildcats pulled off one of the biggest upsets in program history when they defeated then-No. 8 Stanford 4-2… Arizona compiled a 14-1 record at home this season.

PLAYER/COACH HIGHLIGHTS: In the preseason ITA rankings, the Wildcats had three players—Andres Arango, Andres Carrasco and Jay Goldman—ranked in the top 100, first time in program history… Andres Arango (Feb. 2-8), Andres Carrasco (Feb. 16-22) and Jay Goldman (March 9-15) were all named Pac-10 men’s tennis Player of the Week… Coached by Tad Berkowitz, a former WAC Player of the Tear (New Mexico, 1996).
