The USTA and ITA would like to honor ITA collegiate coaches who serve their communities through leading campus-based tennis programs!

All ITA Head and Assistant College Coaches who provide a leadership role in promoting, organizing or participating in campus and community tennis programming that encourage tennis participation and that support the different USTA programs are eligible for this award. Specifically, this award will recognize coaches who host: Campus Showdowns, Campus Kids’ Days, coaches who are recognized as Campus QuickStart providers, coaches who assist with the Tennis On Campus program, as well as coaches who administer other recreational tennis programs on campus or in the local community.

Anyone can submit a nomination form, but all award winners must be current ITA-member collegiate coaches. A coach may not receive the sectional or national award two consecutive years.

When listing each event/program/activity, please provide a detailed description of the event/program/activity that includes but is not limited to the following: a) name, date (s) and time (s) of the event/program/activity, b) eligibility for participation and participation level, c) how the coach or team is involved, d) specific marketing/promotional techniques and innovative features that enabled the program to be successful and, e) list the critical campus entities (recreational/intramural department, physical education department, student government, etc.) you had to work with to establish your program and how you worked with each.
