2002 ITA Award Winners - NAIA Men and Women

Highlighting this year’s awards are Wilson/ITA National Coaches of the Year Bill Rogers of Brenau (women) and Greg Davis of Auburn-Montgomery (men). Both coaches have led their respective teams to No. 1 rankings this season and are the favorites to capture the titles at this week’s NAIA Championships in Peachtree City, Ga.

ITA Senior Player of the Year – Shan Liew, Brenau
ITA Rookie of the Year – Diana Ghergi, Auburn-Montgomery
ITA Player to Watch – Aibika Kalsarieva, Lewis-Clark State
Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship – Cecilia Akesson, Oklahoma City
Men
ITA Senior Player of the Year – Jonas Jarvholm, Shorter (Ga.)
ITA Rookie of the Year – Sebastian Fitz, Auburn-Montgomery
ITA Player to Watch – Georgi Beloretchki, Embry-Riddle
Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship – Vinicius Vieira, Lews-Clark State
