Virginia Stays No. 1 for Fourth Straight Week
USC into Top 3, Texas enters Top 10

SKILLMAN, NJ (Feb. 4) - For the fourth week in a row, the Virginia Cavaliers claim the top spot in the ITA Division I Men's Team Rankings. For the first time this season, there was movement in the Top 5, as USC moves up to No. 3, having shut out both Georgia and Florida over the weekend at the Pac-12/SEC Showdown. On the women's side, the rankings remain the same for another week, as a new poll will not be published this week with the 2014 ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championship set to begin Friday morning, hosted by the University of Virginia at the Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Follow the Leader: Following Virginia is (in order): UCLA, USC, Georgia, Ohio State, Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Texas.

Conference Count: Top 25: SEC - 10; ACC - 4, Big 12 and Pac-12 - 3; Big Ten - 2; AAC, WCC and Ivy League - 1. South Carolina drops out of the Top 25, but with Auburn moving in, the SEC conference numbers remain the same as last week. With Texas entering the Top 10, the Big 12 has tied the SEC for the best representation in the Top 10 with three for each conference.

New Additions: Two teams made their first appearances inside the Top 75 this year, while another is back after a week's absence.

Georgia Tech knocked off then No. 17 South Carolina and North Florida during the week to enter the rankings at No. 46. The Yellow Jackets have roster of one junior, three sophomores and three freshmen, but are playing well beyond their collective years.

Penn State debuts at No. 58 in the ITA Men's Team Rankings, and joins the Yellow Jackets with an unblemished 4-0 record. The Nittany Lions bested then No. 33 Virginia Tech, 4-3, registering their highest ranked win since defeating No. 30 Wisconsin on April 17, 2009.

New Mexico hops back in the Top 75 for its third appearance in the rankings this season. The Lobos sit at No. 72 this week.
