– The national Top 10 remained largely intact as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the updated Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings for Division I men
on Wednesday.

Cavaliers Remain No. 1

Defending national champion Virginia continues to hold the nation’s No. 1 ranking. The Cavaliers, who are the host institution for the 2016 ITA Division I National Men’s Team Indoor Championship (Feb. 12-15 at Boar’s Head Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia) will play their first dual match of the season on Jan. 31 against Kentucky, a team that went from unranked to No. 55 in this week’s rankings, thanks to a 4-3 victory over then-No. 13 Duke on Jan. 17.

#OracleITARankings Big Mover Of The Week
The Kentucky Wildcats (3-0), in addition to the 4-3 win over Duke (now No. 23), earned a doubleheader sweep over Northern Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 15, both by 7-0 margins. Kentucky now sits at No. 55 in the national rankings. The Wildcats’ next match is Jan. 23 at home versus Michigan.

Singles/Doubles Rankings Update
National singles and doubles rankings for Division I men will resume on February 10.
