SKILLMAN, NJ – North Carolina climbed back on top of the national team rankings, as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the updated Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings for Division I men on Tuesday.

Florida’s Gordon Watson and Diego Hidalgo re-claimed the No. 1 doubles ranking, while Tulane’s Dominik Koepfer remains the top-ranked singles player.

Tar Heels Take Back No. 1 Ranking

North Carolina improved its record to 18-1 on the season with a pair of ACC victories last week. The Tar Heels, who opened the season 15-0, defeated Louisville 7-0 on March 18 and earned a 5-2 road victory on March 20 at then-No. 33 North Carolina State. North Carolina hosts Clemson and No. 45 Virginia Tech this week.

#OracleITARankings Big Mover Of The Week
The Auburn Tigers jumped up from unranked to No. 52 in this week’s rankings, thanks largely in part to the team’s 4-3 win over then-No. 22 Ole Miss on March 18. Auburn (9-7) hits the road for a pair of SEC matches, taking on No. 41 Alabama and No. 24 Mississippi State.

Koepfer Keeps No. 1 Singles Ranking
Dominik Koepfer of Tulane continues to hold down the No. 1 position in the national singles rankings. Koepfer is one of two players from the American Athletic Conference to be ranked in the Top 5, as Roberto Cid of South Florida currently sits at No. 5. Illinois and Virginia each have a pair of Top 10-ranked players, as the Fighting Illini’s Aleks Vukic is No. 4 and Jared Hiltzik is No. 10, while the Cavaliers’ Thai-Son Kwiatkowski and Ryan Shane check in at No. 7 and 8, respectively.

Gators Back On Top Of National Doubles Rankings
Gordon Watson and Diego Hidalgo of reclaimed the No. 1 national doubles ranking, moving up one spot from No. 2 in the March 8 rankings. The Gator duo is one of three teams from the SEC in the national Top 10, while the ACC sports four teams, including a pair from the University of Virginia.
