Minimal Movement in Campbell/ITA Rankings after ITA Kick-Off Weekend

Minimal Movement in Campbell/ITA Rankings after ITA Kick-Off Weekend
Stanford, Virginia still grasping the top spot

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The third annual ITA Kick-Off Weekend completed play earlier this week, advancing the 15 men's and 15 women's teams that successfully won both of their matches to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. For an event that is well-known for competitive pairings and possible upsets, most of the top teams in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings remained somewhat unchanged. The Virginia men and Stanford women continue their hold on the No. 1 spot since the start of the 2011 spring season.

Follow the Leader:
For the men, following Virginia is (in order): USC, Tennessee, Ohio State, Texas, UCLA, Florida, Stanford, Baylor and Texas A&M. On the women's side, Stanford is followed by: Florida, Baylor, UCLA, North Carolina, Duke, Michigan, California, Clemson and Miami (FL).

Conference Count:Men's Top 25: ACC, Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC - 5; Pac-10 - 4; Big Ten - 3; Big East and West Coast - 1. Five different conferences placed at least one team in the top 10, with the Big 12 and Pac-10 leading the way with three teams each featured in the top 10 spots. Women's Top 25: SEC - 7; ACC and Pac-10 - 6; Big 12, Big East and Big Ten - 2. Four different conferences placed at least one team in the top 10, with the ACC and Pac-10 reeling in three schools apiece thanks to three schools from California, two from North Carolina and Miami's latest bump into the top 10.

Up A Set: A listing of all of the upsets from both men's and women's college tennis from the previous week. The men's results are listed first, followed by the women.
