SKILLMAN, NJ
– The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is proud to announce the appointment of Kip Sullivan as the Director of Business Administration and Events. Sullivan will begin his duties with the ITA on February 1.

“We are delighted that Kip will be joining #TeamITA,” said ITA Chief Executive Officer Timothy Russell. “His understanding of building and sustaining a business – including overseeing budgets, logistics, marketing and sales – will be a great asset to the ITA moving forward. His incredible work ethic, integrity and commitment to service embody the culture of our Association.”

Sullivan holds three degrees from the University of Miami, including an MBA. For the last 22 years, he has been the co-owner and chief financial officer of the Summit Record Company, a two-time Grammy-winning record label and education producer, which includes an online digital presence in the music world.

At the ITA, Sullivan’s major responsibilities will include managing the business affairs of the ITA, maximizing and growing business-to-business partnerships and overseeing major ITA events, including the annual ITA Coaches Convention.

“I am thrilled to be joining the ITA team,” said Sullivan. “Tennis has been a part of my family life since I was a small child, and now I can give back to the sport in a new manner.”

In addition to his work at Summit Record Company, Sullivan has been an active community volunteer with the Fiesta Bowl Committee, including serving as chairman of the charitable fundraising Hole-In-One event, and chairman of the National Band Competition. He was the Fiesta Bowl Volunteer of the Year in 2010.

“Kip’s business skills and events experience will be a tremendous asset to our team and help us to continue to focus on serving college tennis,” said ITA Chief Operating Officer Erica Perkins Jasper. “I’m very excited to have Kip join #TeamITA.”
