Mike and Bob Bryan defeat Minnesotan Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands Antilles 6-7 (8-6), 6-2 (10-7) to become the men's doubles team with the most title wins in tennis history. The Bryans' 62nd title came during their 100th career final. They had been tied with Hall of Famers Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde of Australia, who won 61 titles.
The Bryans are excited to come to Minnesota in December to play in the 2nd Annual Minnesota Tennis Challenge. Mike and Bob are very excited that proceeds from the event will help three non-profits that focus on helping Minnesota youth.
Butorac Gives Back!
Eric Butorac, the former Gustavus Adolphus player, will be raising money on December 5th along with the World's #1 Ranked Doubles Team, Mike and Bob Bryan, Justin Gimelstob (UCLA) and Jean-Julien Rojer. The event will benefit three local non-profit organizations who work with developing youth.
