Former Illini to Appear on E!'s Chelsea Lately

LOS ANGELES - Former Illini men's tennis player turned comedian, Michael Kosta, will be appearing on E!'s Chelsea Lately tonight at 10 p.m. CT. He also will be headlining at the Hollywood Improv Saturday night in Los Angeles.

As an athlete at Illinois, Kosta finished with 107 career wins, good for eighth on the all-time singles chart, while ranking fourth with 37 wins in a single season in 2000. He majored in speech communication, with a minor in Spanish.

The Ann Arbor, Mich., native has made appearances on Comedy Central's 'Live at Gotham', and at the HBO/ US Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado, while his stand up has been seen on TBS during commercial breaks.
