Welcome to the relaunch of ITAtennis.com, the official website for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Active Network, Inc. (Active), a leading provider of application services technology and marketing solutions for community service and participatory sports organizations, is the company responsible for rebuilding the new ITA website and for helping us usher in a new era with online registration forms for membership, the ITA Coaches Convention, all ITA national and regional championships and ITA Summer Circuit.

Among our newest features now "live" on the site are online membership renewal for the 2008-09 season, an option for Tournament Directors to sanction their '08-09 tournaments online, online registration for the ITA Summer Circuit and video.

Our navigation has changed significantly with the new site. Menu options are now at the top of the main page and features the following headings: About the ITA, Awards & Rankings, Coaches, Events & Tournaments and Outreach. Please keep in mind that we are still in the process of transferring many of our files from our old ITA server to this new site, however, the latest news and information on all our ITA programs should be available and easy to find.

  • "About ITA" features: FAQs about the association, out Board of Directors, committee listings, history of the ITA, ITA staff contact information, membership information, ITA Convention information, advertising and sponsorship opportunities, endowment drive updates, and our ITA Halls of Fame.
  • Awards & Rankings includes: the latest rankings, a link to our results entry site, ranking archives, award nomination forms, listings for the ITA All-America Teams, listings and information on the ITA's Academic Awards, the ITA Achievement Award, and archive of past award winners, USTA/ITA Awards, a special section recognizing sportsmanship and our ITA All-Star Team.
  • The "Coaches" section features: ITA rules information, our Code of Ethics, NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA legislative issues and updates, our new mentoring program, forms, ITA Attendance Race standings, our Building Program guide, the Coaches Directory and classifieds.
  • "Events & Tournaments" includes the following menu options: the 2008-09 ITA Event Calendar,  ITA-Sanctioned Tournament listings and information, Wilson/ITA Regional Championships schedule and information, pages on all of our ITA national cham, pionships, the Summer Circuit, Collegiate Wheelchair Tennis and a past result archive
  • "Outreach" features our Advocacy Network, the ITA's Community Outreach endeavors and our partnership with the Tennis On Campus program.

The video section on our website currently includes ad spots James Blake and Bob and Mike Bryan cut for the ITA in 2004 that have run on the Tennis Channel. Next week we have plans to air interviews from the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships in Tulsa and well as footage from the 2008 ITA Men's Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

ITAtennis.com will also include a poll area, upcoming event and deadline calendar and feature stories like the one currently available on the site commemorating the 10-year anniversary of Stanford's amazing 1998 men's team.
