NCAA Tennis Committee Vacancies Announced (October 10, 2008)
Below is a list of the 2009-2010 NCAA tennis committee vacancies specific to tennis that were included as part of a larger list encompassing all NCAA committee openings. This information has recently been sent to the NCAA membership and will also be published in online in The News. The deadline for submitting nominations is December 5, 2008.
- Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee Openings:
For those interested in being considered for the Division I openings, they should contact their campus administrator for guidance as to how their institution works with their conference office to submit nominees for these openings.
Description: Must be from the Football Championship or Division I Subdivision. One must represent men’s tennis interests from the East region and one must represent women’s tennis interest from the Midwest region. May be coaches or administrators.
- Division III Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee Openings:
For those interested in being considered for the Division III opening they have the capability of self-nominating themselves through the NCAA website, as well as, working through their campus administration/conference office.
Division III Men’s Tennis Committee:
Description: Must from the Northeast region. May be a coach or administrator.
Eligible conferences: City University of New York Athletic Conference; Commonwealth Coast Conference; Empire 8 Conference; Great Northeast Athletic Conference; Landmark Conference; Liberty League; Little East Conference; New England Collegiate Conference; New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference; New Jersey Athletic Conference; North Atlantic Conference; Skyline Conference.
Division III Women’s Tennis Committee:
Description: Must be from the Central region. May be a coach or administrator.
Eligible conferences: Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference; College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin; Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference; Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference; Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association; Midwest Conference; Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference; North Coast Athletic Conference; Northern Athletics Conference; St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference; University Athletic Association; Upper Midwest Athletic Conference; Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
